Youth hockey clinics are for those who are late to the game, just getting starting out, and for those who want to improve their game. We focus on learning the basics with some skating, game skills, and scrimmages. Our goal is to have fun and to help you feel like a pro every time you get on the ice.

hockey 3 (8-10)

Thursdays & Saturdays

Hockey 1

Hockey 1 is for children ages 5-15yrs) who have no experience with the game and are eager to learn. The weekly program includes power skating, game skills and scrimmages. Every session will include scrimmage and game play while also working on improving acceleration, balance and agility. Hockey drills will include work on shot technique, passing and receiving as well as puck control. As the session progresses the scrimmage time will be extended. The goal of the program is to make playing hockey fun and prepare players to confidently enter and excel in their local community hockey leagues.

Players in this program are required to be comfortable on skates, they can stand, glide and move independently around the ice.

Players should wear full hockey equipment and bring their stick.

Hockey 2

Hockey 2 is for children ages 5-15yrs who are familiar with the game and focused on improving their skills. The weekly program includes power skating, game skills and scrimmages. Every session will include scrimmage and game play while also working on improving acceleration, balance and agility. Hockey drills will include work on shot technique, passing and receiving as well as puck control. As the session progresses the scrimmage time will be extended. The goal of the program is to make playing hockey fun and prepare players to confidently enter and excel in their local community hockey leagues.

Players in this program are required to be proficient on skates, they can skate and stop independently.

Players should wear full hockey equipment and bring their stick.

Hockey 3

Hockey 3 is for youth ages 8-15yrs who are confident with the game and focused on advancing their skills. The weekly program includes power skating, game skills and scrimmages. Every session will include scrimmage and game play while also working on improving acceleration, balance and agility. Hockey drills will include work on shot technique, passing and receiving as well as puck control. As the session progresses the scrimmage time will be extended. The goal of the program is to make playing hockey fun and prepare players to confidently enter and excel in their local community hockey leagues.
