Baseball

Our baseball classes, clinics, and leagues offer a logical skill progression delivered through age-appropriate games. Our weekly programs are led by coaches who energetically share knowledge to help teach kids about the game.

Classes

2-6yrs

Fun skill stations and games that introduce players to the essential skills of baseball. Our enthusiastic coaches teach how to bat, catch, throw, field, and also run the bases!

Little League

6-11yrs

Weekly games are run with balanced teams ensuring each player gets an equal chance and equal playing time. High-energy coaches help children progress in a fun environment.

Clinics

6-15yrs

Advanced clinics cater to players 6-11yrs looking to build "all around" skills including hitting in the batting cage. We also offer Specialty Pitching clinics for players aged 6-15yrs.

Baseball is a fantastic activity and exercise for helping kids build their physical literacy and to be engaged. Baseball allows families to get away from screen time by focusing on being present, and in the moment. Fact: there are close to 300 pitches in a typical nine-inning game at the Major League Baseball level, which means the sport often considered ‘slow’ has more action than games in the NBA (206 possessions) or NFL (153 plays).

It also involves hand-eye coordination, catching, and throwing, and running “well.”

Engagement shared and taught through a logical skill progression has been at the heart of the classes we offer since they were originally introduced to Hamilton as Lil Sluggers in 2014. Our coaches make learning fun, keep kids engaged and always bring their love of baseball to the session. Our family-friendly schedules, small groups and player/coaches use age-appropriate games and logical skill progressions to get the most from the kids.

Our coaches, with their knowledge and enthusiasm, aim to keep that ‘spark.’ We are always looking for new skill curriculum, activities and games to include and help the kids get the most out of it. Class and game schedules are family-friendly, and small groups are maintained to optimize the potential for everyone to learn as one, but learn together.

Our classes help children acquire the tools that they made at any point in a game, and points throughout their life. It is also a game for learning effective communication. In full-side games, from youth leagues up to the major leagues, a team of nine players have to communicate while spread across the diamond about how they are going to stop the batters and runners — and without the other team finding out their strategy!

Seeing a child try on right-sized and right-spaced baseball activities may also help caregivers come to understand the game.

Wherever it leads, those physical literacy and life skills offered in baseball are part of our programs.
