Wentworth Sports Complex is the newest addition to the HamOnt Sports family. Located on the edge of the Niagara Escarpment, at the border of Ancaster, Dundas, and Hamilton, Wentworth is a vibrant multi-sport facility with a rich history.
Originally built in 1958 as a curling club, the facility expanded in the 1960s and 1970s with the addition of two skating rinks. In 2012, the original ice surface was converted into two indoor turf fields. Following a devastating fire in 2024, Wentworth underwent a major transformation, emerging as a modern, state-of-the-art sports destination.
Today, the 100,000 sq. ft. facility includes:
- Two newly renovated indoor turf fields
- New courts for pickleball, basketball, and smash volleyball
- A bar & restaurant
- Our popular outdoor Nature Camp
Wentworth Sports Complex continues to thrive as a hub for recreation, wellness, and community in the Hamilton area.
Indoor Turf Fields
Wentworth doesn't stop with it's Ice, the facility also houses two complete indoor soccer pitches, measuring in at 170x70ft. Our Adult Soccer leagues throughout the fall and winter are some of Hamilton's most competitive for all of our divisions, Women's, Men's and COED.
Today, Wentworth's indoor turf fields are the stage for our adult soccer leagues, youth soccer leagues and clinics, our all of our Baseball classes, clinics and leagues, Weekly drop-in lawn bowling, and is available to be booked for birthday parties as well as rentals!

We source our uniforms from Aaantex Clothing Hamilton Who reliably supplies us with all of our youth soccer, football, baseball and hockey jerseys. Aaantex offers options for pre-designed, and custom jerseys for any sport or occasion.
Soccer World is a 46,000 indoor space with two artificial turf fields. Home to year round soccer, football, camps and more.
Common in Northern Europe, the Soccer World air-supported structure was one of the first in Canada. Manufactured by The Farley Group and built on the former Hamilton Hydro Frid Street yard, the dome opened to players in January 2002.
At Soccer World we take pride in our coaches abilities. With an extensive training program, we ensure that our staff is high energy and well versed in their area, whether that be baseball camp, volleyball coaching, or soccer skills, our coaches and staff are well prepared to help you!

HamOnt Sports is the parent to Soccer World and Wentworth Sports Complex! We first started out with one location, Soccer World at 104 Frid St, we then expanded and expanded. Now we have merged with Wentworth Sports Complex. A place equipped with two full indoor turf fields, and two full size hockey rinks. With this expansion, we have also been able to broaden our programs and what we can offer to our valued customers! We love to build our Soccer World family, whether that be new and welcomed employees, new players, or new faces stopping by our restaurant.
