Coach Joquel is from Havana, Cuba and played baseball from an early age.
He was recruited to play on the local provincial team at 12yrs, he aged through the system, eventually playing in the Cuban National League. Joquel played for Havana's Metropolitanos and Industriales teams where he was a multiple year champion and a three time All Star catcher.
His first hand knowledge, skills and personality make him the perfect baseball coach.
